What about COVID-19?

During these uncertain times, Prime Ovens still wants you to have access to our amazing services. We are still able to operate following government guidelines - Face masks, Personal Protective Equipment and social distancing rules are applied on every clean. Details on guidance can be found at www.gov.uk/covid19 .


*Relevent information may be asked for when booking to ensure you and us are kept safe and that we are able to operate in your home.

How long does a clean take?

Several factors determine how long a clean can take - the condition, size, type of appliance and of course the service you have - simply put, there is no definitive answer until we arrive. We can however give an average time when booking your service.

What areas do you cover?

Prime Ovens is based in Lowestoft. We primarily cover both Norfolk and Suffolk stretching to most of the East Anglia region of the UK. As a guide, postcode areas we operate across are:- NR, IP.

Outside these areas? Get in touch and we may be able to help!

*CB, CO, CM, PE and SS postcodes are able to be considered.

What chemicals do you use?

All the products we use are specifically designed for the oven cleaning industry. Formulated to give a deep and heavy duty clean, we ensure that every product is non tainting, non acidic and 100% food safe.

I have children and/or pets. Is it an issue?

Creatures are curious! We ensure the products we bring into your home are stored and sealed away from inquisitive pets. Though it would be ideal for your beloved animal(s) to be out of the way, we understand that sometimes this isn't possible.

We do ask that children are not within the working area whilst your clean is ongoing.

Can I use my appliance(s) once it's cleaned?

Yes! Your appliance(s) will be safe and ready to use as soon as the clean is finished.

What about all the mess?

We never leave a mess! Great care is taken to protect all the surfaces we use during your clean, including your floor. We ask that your sink is empty and available to use during the course of your service. Once complete, areas we have used are cleaned and sanitised, leaving your kitchen just as we found it!

How and when do I pay?

Full payment is taken at the end of your clean and a receipt is provided. You can pay by cash or card - contactless, Apple and Android Pay are also supported.


*Please note - a deposit may be required during the busy Christmas period - it is non-refundable should you cancel an appointment, and is reduced from the price of your service upon completion. 

Am I covered if something goes wrong?

We carry out a detailed inspection on your products BEFORE and AFTER the cleaning service, but accidents can happen. In the unlikely event it does, rest assured you ARE protected. Prime Ovens has a fully comprehensive liability insurance should the worst happen to your items.


There are some limitations - at Prime Ovens we have extensive knowledge of our industry, and understand that appliances can deteriorate through use and over time - whilst we are fully insured, there are occasions when issues are out of our hands!

Disclaimer

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

Your oven should be empty of cooking utensils (other than those supplied with the appliance). It must be COLD, ready for its clean. We NEVER handle your food - so for other appliances, details will be given when booking and you will be contacted prior to arrival.


*We NEVER move your appliances as to avoid complications and potential damage.

I can't keep my appointment. What do I do?

Life can get in the way - if you're unable to keep your appointment, don't worry. We confirm your appointment the day before it is scheduled, and can rebook if something changes.


*Please note - cancellations (if not rebooking) during Christmas periods where a deposit has been paid is non refundable.

I want to book you again. Can I do that?

Of course you can! Simply let us know when your clean is finished and you can rebook right away!
